Kangchenjunga North Face- Nepal 2002
An international commercial, nonguided team ascended the North Face of Kangchenjunga (8586m/ 28,169ft) in Spring 2002. Chris Grasswick and Stu Findley reached the summit, but sadly Chris fell to his death on the descent. I was to attempt the summit the next day with Paul Rowntree (UK), but Chris' death and the arrival of the monsoon the next day meant I would have to be content with reaching 8000m. Grass, you'll be missed.
