Gasherbrum II - Pakistan 2006
In 2006 I travelled with a group as an independent climber attempting Gasherbrum II (8035m/26,360), the world's 13th highest peak. Good weather and good snow conditions meant many summits this year (over 120 I've heard). I summited, though with some drama caused by another climber. On the way out, we had more trouble driving back from Skardu after landslides closed the road. The photos are roughly in chronological order. Hold the mouse over the thumbnail to see the caption. If I spelled your name wrong, let me know and I'll fix it.
